Emaar group has unleashed the only commercial tower in Dubai Marina.. The building would be 28 storeys high and its completion is scheduled until 2009..

according to a private tv channel.. cement prices have gone down about Rs. 20 to Rs. 25 per bag during the last few days.. the main cause for this decrease is reported to be less cement exports to Afghanistan due to lack of transportation facilities..

it promises to bring down the construction costs for huge projects.. !!

Gwadar Development Authority’s (GDA) Director General Ahmed Baksh has said that the Gwadar coastal highway would be linked with Iran after its completion in 2 years..

it is learnt that premiums on cars have reached new levels after the increase of Customs Duty on cars from 5% to 15%.. according to an estimate, amount of premium on cars has doubled of late depending on the model of cars..

i reckon its all too burdensome for the common man..

despite all the fool-proof planning, Lahore may not be able to sustain heavy rainfall simply due to the fact that WASA cannot drain out rainwater if the city receives more than 2 inches rain in one hour.. the first pre-monsoon rain a few days back verifies this fact..

(read here) … a few days back we heard that with the construction of this motorway, the travelling distance between the two cities would be reduced to 45 minutes.. and now we heard dat da government is plannin to construct three modern industrial zones alongside the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway havin many facilities.. Pakistan is definitely on its way to be amongst the developed nations of da world.. wot say ya ??
